The Arctic Ecology Research program at the University of Texas at El Paso is recruiting students for funded PhD positions open for students to start as early as Spring 2025. Admitted applicants will be supported by a combination of graduate assistantships and teaching assistantships and include tuition remission for qualified applicants. Candidates should have a BS or MS in Ecology, Biology, Environmental Science or related fields. Ideal candidates will have some previous research experience in field ecology, a strong work ethic, be able to work independently and with a field crew. Faculty are more than willing to answer questions about the University, the program and their own research labs and interests.
