UConnecticut.PostbaccalaureateProgramInGenomics

I am thrilled to share information about the UConn RaMP (Research and Mentoring for Postbaccalaureates) Program; a year-long, paid NSF- funded postbaccalaureate research training program based at the University of Connecticut. The purpose of the program is to offer a mentored research experience and professional development opportunities to individuals historically underrepresented in STEM (including underrepresented ethic groups, people with disabilities, veterans, and first-generation collegestudents) or those who did not have sufficient access to research during their undergraduate careers (college graduates of lower-resourced institutions). RaMP provides an intensive research experience, with salaries comparable to an entry level job.Scholars will conduct original research under the mentorship a faculty members and graduate student mentor, participate in professional development activities, and expand high demand technical skills in preparation for a diverse array of STEM careers and/or graduate school. Our website and application information can be found here:https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fgenome-postbac.biology.clas.uconn.edu%2F&data=05%7C02%7Cmiranda.l.davis%40uconn.edu%7Cf09bb94dc19a41da0b9108dbfc94d6a6%7C17f1a87e2a254eaab9df9d439034b080%7C0%7C0%7C638381488411126597%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=PoXkr0qBzYy92YJaNa56ZxTt0SrJz%2F98kbEyXtOeGuM%3D&reserved=0.
