Oregon Aquatic Biologist I (two 3-month positions; one 2-month position) needed to conduct aquatic ecology surveys on public and private forest lands. Duties include backpack electrofishing, collection of macroinvertebrate and periphyton samples, habitat surveys, and working closely with primary investigators. Experience with ecology field work and interest in aquatic ecology is desired. Applicants should be comfortable navigating in remote backcountry settings and be able to work as a team member under difficult field conditions. Overnight camping is expected.
