Areas of ongoing faculty research include: animal physiology, bioinformatics, cancer biology, immunology, and marine ecology. Students have access to a fully equipped marine/field research station and are supported by a 9-month teaching assistantship stipend of $8,461 and tuition wavier. Walla Walla University and Rosario Beach Marine Laboratory provide research support.

Qualifications: Candidates should have a B.S. or B.A. in Biology or a closely related field. Applicants should have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75, official GRE scores, good written and oral communication ability, and evidence of a strong commitment to excellence.
