The M.S. portion of the Joint B.S./M.S. Degree is a coursework-based (Plan B) degree, incorporating internship and research experiences. This degree is designed for students wishing to pursue careers in biodiversity management, conservation, and environmental education; graduates find work in a wide variety of vocational settings. Financial support in the form of tuition waivers and graduate assistantships is generally NOT offered to students in this program.

The application deadline for this program is January 10, for admission the following fall. Applications are generally considered only once a year and the department does not normally consider applications for entry in the spring semester.
